Bad Liebenstein is a cosy town in the middle of Germany, better known as the green heart of Germany, the Thuringia Forest.

It is a popular spa resort. The healing Casimir Quelle (the water) offers the visitors a cocktail full of iron and nature and the good location, in the valley with not much wind, makes even the coldest periods more pleasurable than in other areas of Germany.

You can visit the castle and park Altenstein all year round. Every season offers you something special.

In the spring and summer you can see some beautiful flower beds in the English Garden.

The autumn invites you to a dance with colours. It is a must see for photographers.

An enchanting fog sometimes builds during the winter months. You are just waiting for a magician to turn up and to grant you a wish.
