The beech trees originate from the 18th century when the Stuart family planted them there to lead them to their Georgian mansion. The avenue of trees was also used as a filming location in Game of Thrones – it was called the King’s Road. The photograph was taken in Nov 2015.

The Dark Hedges are located along Bregagh Road near Gracehill Golf Club, off the A147.  Bregagh Rd, Ballymoney BT53 8TP
