Visiting Bukit Gasing Nature Trail (Malaysia).
We show you the nature trail in Bukit Gasing located between Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Despite being located so near the centre of KL this free to enter nature park provides a taste of the rainforest or, as someone else put it, a small jungle within a city. Bukit Gasing makes for an interesting excursion and diversion from the busier sites in and around KL. It is accessible to all and you really feel part of nature there. Part of the park (the section located in Selangor) is recognised as a “Green Lung” which is a classification banning development on the land due to the vital role the area plays to the environmental health of the region. You will see from our video that, as you might expect, insect life there is rampant and you should be prepared for mosquitos. However you will be rewarded with a wide variety of flora and fauna plus some interesting birds and wildlife. We spotted a spider we had never seen before and a shiny lizard we had also not encountered.
