This image was taken this week during the 2015 Thaipusam Festival held at the Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. As you can see it was a colourful experience. Thaipusam is a Hindu festival which is celebrated mainly in India, Malaysia and Singapore. During a procession devotees carry a Kavadi, or a burden, that can consist of minor milk-pots carried on their heads or larger structures that are attached to them through their skin by way of piercing.
